Thanks to everyone who participated in the snappy_endings pre-Deathly Hallows Multi-fest, and through ArtPad, fic and poetry gave our esteemed Potions Master & Ex DADA Professor an alternate happy ending before the advent of the final Canon. A Masterlist of all the entries are here below:

Now that Deathly Hallows is out, two places of interest that may be of interest to Snape fans;
snapeartcontest is holding a new ArtPad competition for August 2007, based on the stories JKR left out of Deathly Hallows. It’s not necessary to have read the book to participate, just bring along your imagination and a good sense of humour! (See this post for more details)
There has been a new LJ fest created in response to Book 7, snape_after_dh. If you’ve read DH and are interested in fining out more or participating, head over there. If you haven’t finished the book yet, there are major spoilers throughout the community so beware of the link. |

In two hours or so from now, I'll be coming back here to put the community into lockdown until July 23rd, & no new posts will be approved until after then, so if you have anything to post, now's the time to do it.
The snappy_endings Fic/Art Multi-fest is now Over! Thanks to everyone who participated, a masterlist will be posted here sometime next week. Until then, Good Reading and whatever happens to him, May Snape be finally proven to be the Hero we believe him to be - one may only hope! :) |

| Another quick reminder |

It’s now the 19th of July, or the 18th in the US, which means the lib entries for the Pre-Deathly Hallows snappy_endings Multi-Fest are now over. Other entries for art, fic & recs can still be posted until the 12:00 am, July 21st AU Time/ July 20th US Time lockdown. (please disregard my previous post re the art/fic/rec deadlines, I got them mixed up a bit with the lib entries, which I’ll post shortly).
Late entries will be accepted after July 23rd AU Time/July 22nd US Time, when the lockdown ends.
Sometime after that, I will post a masterlist & maybe put up for discussion possible future directions for this community (i.e. ‘Snape Survives’ post-HBP compatible AU and HBP & DH compatible afterlife-centric fic/art etc if he doesn’t survive the end of the series, regular post-HBP & DH compatible submissions of the same if he does, and so on).
Until then, keep posting, and I’ll also remind everyone that all Post-HBP compatible fic & art recs that are suitable (i.e Snape-centric, post-HBP happy ending, check the rules here for anything else) are also welcome, since there hasn’t been any posted here yet. If there’s something that someone wrote, drew or whatever that you think is suitable, post it here or let me know in a comment (comments will be screened). I’ll add a few recs of my own if nobody else does.

Just a reminder post that Mad Lib entries for the snappy_endings multi-fest will close at the end of tomorrow, and I will have the results ready for posting. You still have until 12:00 am, July 21st AU Time/ July 20th US Time lockdown to post art, fic & recs to this community.
Late entries will be accepted after July 23rd AU Time/July 22nd US Time, when the lockdown ends, and if you need to know any further details please check the community profile or reply to this post.
Also, due to the spoilers trolls going around on other LJ groups the community will remain on moderated status & I will be resetting all posts so that comments will be screened. I wish to keep this as a spoiler free zone until after most people have had a chance to read the last book.
